Derek Jeter Signed After A Game?

This Jeter signature looks very questionable. The ad says that the bat was "signed after a game this season at Yankee Stadium"

Does Jeter sign many bats after a game? Jeter is exclusive with Steiner Sports so I can't imagine he signs much stuff elsewhere. Let us know your thoughts

Click here to see the auction.

Complete fake. Platinum Sports is one of the worst COA's to have. Interestingly enough, the Yankee's ball in the above auction went fot $200 and this ugly bat went for close to $300 - just goes to show that a COA, no matter who it's from makes people more likely to purchase a bogus item. SOmeone please email the buyer and let them know what to do....

Like "Bigtruck" wrote previously, this is 100% fake and once again any COA from Platinum Sports is a fake autograph item. Awhile back I tried hundreds of times to warn bidders/buyers or fake autograph items that they were bidding on or purchased and the most common reply was "mind your business," or, "it comes with a COA so it has to be Jeter's autograph." As they say "ignorance is bliss." Sad.

CHRIS JUST A FLY I I KNOW YOUR TRING TO HELP TO CAUSE AND DO GOOD BUT YOUR VIGALANTE APPROACH COULD BACK FIRE ON YOU.EBAY HAS STRICT GUIDLINES AND IF YOU CONTACT A BUYER TO TELL THEM THERE BUYING A FAKE IF THE SELLER FINDS OUT THEY CAN ALRET EBAY AND WILL GET EITHER A WARNING,SUSPENSION OR BOOTED FOR LIFE.I KNOW YOUR DOING THE RIGHT THING BUT TAMPERING WITH AUCTIONS IS STRICTLY OUTLAWED BY EBAY.YOU SHOULD SIMPLY JUST REPORT BAD AUCTIONS TO EBAY BECAUSE I WOULD HATE TO SEE A GOOD GUY GET BOOTED

Thank you for your comments to the previous writer. I stopped doing that a long time ago, not for fear from Ebay, but because the buyers that bid on that garbage only get defensive, but I appreciate your feedback.

I still do it occasionally if the item is bad and the person bidding is new. I have no problem telling frauds where they can go too. I have a very strong feedback rating and I hope that they look at my feedback and verify that I know what I am talking about - all they have to do is look at my buying and sales records. I contacted the guy who sold that Jeter bat and he gave me the email address of the guy who he supposedly sells for as a Platinum Sports dealer. I asked him about the Tiger Woods golf ball and the Pele soccer ball he had up for auction...of course, he gave me the run around and said that the merch. was legit....DON'T BUY PRODUCTS FROM PLATINUM SPORTS.

thats a pretty dumb comment from all-authentic bout i cant image he signs stuff anywhere else.99.99%of all athletes sign autographs for there fans for free.do you think jeter really cares if steiner loses a little money because he doesnt want to be seen a a jerk to his fans.COME ON PEOPLE!dont belive a contract which by the way has nothing to do with him signing for his fans would stand in the way of one of americas greaest baseball players

on a seprate note i think this auction is a fake but he can still sign bats, balls or whatever he choices to do so for his fans and steiner has to shut up and eat it

Hello all!
I read your comments all the time...thanks.

How is it that EVERYONE is selling Derek Jeter autographs with Steiner holograms for $230-250.00?

Are they fakeing the hologram with a good autograph or is Steiner selling these to "wholesalers" real cheap? I mean they want $499. for a Jeter ball! If someone is selling them on ebay for 234.00 that means steiner is selling them for as little as 190-200?

See robertv7127 or ticketghost as just a couple examples of GREAT autographs with Steiner...don't look like fakes? How are they doing it?

Thanks!!!!

Mick
