Another Jeter Signed Baseball

This Derek Jeter Signed Baseball is being offered by Fansindastands on eBay. It comes with a COA from Fansindastands and not Steiner. This has been discussed before the blog -- this seller also will only accept money orders for these items which seems risky, but they do have great feedback.

This is one of those obvious fakes from seller "Fansindastands." Last night he put up 7 Albert Pujols fake autograph items and 6 Derek Jeter fake autograph items. He now uses 1-day auctions and they are all private so that we can't warn potential bidders of the fakes they are bidding on. I have complained to Ebay at least 2-3 times a week about seller "Fansindastands" and they continue to allow him to sell his fake autograph items. Yes, Devin, I noticed that seller "Americansportscollectibles" put up some suspicious MM items. He also put back up his fake autographed football items from the Manning family, Jown Elway, etc. For some puzzling reason Ebay allows him to continue to sell his fake autographed footballs. I assume it's about all the fees he makes them and they turn a blind eye to the fact that he sells (and has sold) literally thousands of fake autographed footballs. I also asked seller "ernnie0920" a simply question and here is his reply "Are you kidding me??? Do you want pics of them signing this item, you have contacted me about jeter as well?? Would you like proof of the signing who are you you never buy anything??? Who is your group???? You obviously have no idea about what your talking about!!" He immediately got very defensive and my question to him was "Can you please tell me how you acquire your autograph items?" I guess I hit a nerve. You have to understand something about these sellers, before my investigation they had never been challenged about their autograph items. Now they are aware that people like you and I are looking at them. I see that more people are getting involved in this blog, which is a great thing. I also wanted you to know that Bigtruck and myself have contacted a website that has contact with Albert Pujols and we have informed them that we will forward the names of sellers that are selling Albert Pujols fake autograph items. I would love to see Mr. Pujols contact Ebay about the hundreds of fakes on their site every day. More later.

fansindastands is a great business person. he gets back to you right away when you have a question, and you can trust him to pay with a money order. he ships his items almost immediately. very friendly guy too. his only setback is that he sells all fake autographs. something i didn't know until i started reading the blogs on this site. i was one of the many hundred people to fall victim to fansindastands. if you look at his merchandise, it almost seems that everywhere he goes, he must carry like 50 baseball bats and 10 dozen baseballs with him. i bet albert pujols and derek jeter are going to sign 20 autographs for the same person at the same time. his forgeries are usually good too. except his ryan howard. as a phillies collector, i have multiple authentic ryan howard signed items. i look at mine and i look at fansindastands. and i laugh. but the sad thing is, if it werent for good people like chris opening my eyes, i'd probably still buy crap from fansindastands

I also want to make the readers of this blog aware of something that happened to me last week, and in a moment I will explain why I decided to make this public. Last week I was threatened through Ebay's Email System by a certain seller. Two very threatening emails. These two emails occurred after a certain "seller" submitted a "Buy It Now" on three of my items and I incurred a few hundred in fees. The three "Buy It Now" bids were phoney and I knew it immediately, and then came the threatening emails. Now here's my concern. After forwarding these emails to Ebay Security, as of today, no action by Ebay has been taken against this seller and Ebay still has not credited my account for the phoney fees. As a matter of fact, these emails were sent to certain agencies and I also went to my local police department. But for Ebay to do nothing about this one week after it occurred is very puzzling and infuriating to me. This seller claimed in the email "that he has 20 Ebay accounts to harrass me with" and Ebay has that email and yet they still do nothing. This is just as bad as them giving the "bad sellers" a green light to continue selling their fake autograph items. Someone tell me what is wrong with this picture?

I just noticed tonight that seller "Onlinesportsnmore" is back selling their fakes. Their old Ebay ID was "Onlinesportsautographs" and they sold thousands of fake autograph items and Ebay has let them back on to sell. If you do a search on their new Ebay ID you will notice that they last received feedback back in Febuary. They sold over 7,000 fake autograph items and now they are back on selling. They changed their Ebay User ID a few weeks and I knew they were going to start selling again. Ask them where they get their autograph items from? Check and see how "Onlinesportsnmore" and "Diamondsportslegacy" both use the same auction software. Same as that ring from last year that I discovered. Coincidence? Nope.

only on ebay... you can sell forged signatures, bootlegged movies and cds, and also you're allowed to harass other users.
i guess we're lucky that whoever runs ebay isn't our president. oh wait, he just might be...

At 6:09 PM , Chris said...

Good point. The irony is that if I ask a "bad seller" a lot of questions Ebay would consider that "harassment," but it's okay for them to sell fake autographs by the thousands. Or a seller can send me threatening emails and have no action taken against them. And if I don't pay the fraudulent fees from phoney bidders Ebay can hold that against me. But it's okay for the "bad sellers" to sell fake autographs by the thouands. Am I being repetitive? Yes I am, just like the "bad sellers" who repeat selling the same fake autographs over and over again.

My name is Jack and I own Diamondsportslegacy. I am not hiding, I just refuse to be signed in a blog that Chris feels like he is a god. Chris I love your comments and you can blast me all you want. I have nothing to do with any other seller(s) on ebay but thanks for the comments. I am glad you feel like an ebay detective and keep up the good work. BUT BY THE WAY DO NOT ASSOCIATE ME WITH ANYONE ELSE ON EBAY. JUST BECAUSE I LOVE MARKETWORKS, AND THEY PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE ON EBAY - COMPARED TO ANDALE, ETC., DOESNT MAKE ME ASSOCIATED WITH ANOTHER SELLER ON EBAY. I also like how Chris harrasses people but as soon as someone sticks up for themselves he runs to ebay or the police. Chris you are a pathentic loser and always will be. Keep up the good work and keep whining and crying.

Jack.

check out #140057276417.. i don't know how anybody passed up on this gem! actually, i think the seller went to their sons t-ball game, and there was a player named alex rodriguez.

also, check out #250053620642.. he bought that from fansindastands. he probably found out it's fake and is just trying to get rid of it.

actually, checking the other items of the guy with the fansindastands a-rod ball, it looks like he bought other stuff (most likely knowingly fake) just to resell it. he doesn't have any feedback from fansindastands, so he must use another user ID

I am so happy to be hearing from the "other side" in Mr. Anonymous Jack. It's about time. Mr. Jack calls me a "pathetic loser" because I am the first one to ever continuously challenge these guys about their fake autographs. He also states " also like how Chris harrasses people but as soon as someone sticks up for themselves he runs to ebay or the police." Anyone who knows me knows I am not afraid of anyone or else I would have stopped this a long time ago after all the other threats. There are certain threats that demand documenting with the authorities should anything happen to me. Also, I don't harass anyone, I ask questions. I don't threaten anyone, I ask questions. You have to understand one thing about these guys, they all communicate with each other. Since Mr. Jack is reading this column maybe he can fill us in on how he acquires all of his autograph items? Every 24 hours "Diamondsportslegacy" puts up another 100 autograph items. Many are items that didn't sell previouslyut many are those that Mr. Jack seems to have a infinite supply of. His last 75 feedbacks showed he has sold 4 Ryan Howard autograph items (with 4 more up for auction right now), 7 Tiki Barber autograph items, 5 Pete Rose autograph items, 4 Alfonso Soriano autograph items, 3 Donovan McNabb autograph items (with 3 more up for auction now), 3 Johnny Bench autograph items (with 1 more up for auction right now), 5 LD Tomlinson autograph items (with 2 more up for auction now), etc. Mr. Jack, how do you acquire all of these autographs from all of these great athletes? Do you have a contract with them? I also find it curious that you write this blog the day after "Onlinesportsnmore (used to be 'Onlinesportsautographs')" started selling again on Ebay. I also want the readers of this blog to compare these two auction numbers to each other: 230058553552 and 180057235154. I will be writing more in exactly 24 hours.

At 5:24 PM , j-man said...

his ryan howard's all appear to be fake. bad fakes too. i didn't look at all his other auctions, but i bet that most, if not all are fake. that, my friend, is why he has an endless supply.

OK - So it looks like Diamondsportslegacy is checking himself out on Google...did you type your username and "fakes"? Anyway, I applaud the efforts of Chris - without whom, this blog would be far less interesting, although a few of us are following his lead. As for "Jack's" products:
Sir, your items are horrible...Carlton Fisk has signed thousands of baseballs, and none has seen a swwet spot sig that small. Also, your Nomar items are trash, as his signature is no where close to the ones you are selling. Of course, I am not an expert, but After sending the Ryan Howard and David Wright items to PSA quick option, I am justified in telling you that you are a scam artist - regardless of whether or not you are part of a larger ring. The first clue is the fact that everything is a one-day auction. The second is that only a few of your items are sold with 16 hours left...show that at least some eBayers are savvy enough to avoid obvious fakes. This blog was created to educate the public about sellers, like yourself who cheapen the memorabilia business by peddling forgeries. There are many legit sellers who are undercut by you and the rest of the frauds...I especially resent the fact that you start your bids at seemingly reasonable prices (49.99) to make bidders think that IT MUST be real. Let me tell you a secret...there are cops in my state right now following leads and doing research...the next person who buys from you could be one of them. And I, like Chris - am not scared of creeps like you that call us names and try to make us look like we don;t know what we are doing - you will get what's coming to you in the end.

Bahahahahahhaha.
I'm sorry guys but this is a little funny. Think about it...Jack spouts off about Chris and some software that he uses. Then he says not to put him in the same category as the rest of the chumps. Not once, NOT ONE TIME does he make reference to fake autographs. Now....I'm no genius but if i was accused of selling fakes and I really wasn', then I would be inclined to write a few paragraphs saying so. I think Jack knows what he's doing (as evident by his remarks). It's kinda of funny to me. Either he's not as smart as I thought he would be, or I'm just too used to dealing with that type of thought process. Either way, I think it's worth be taking a look. And yes, Jack you can feel free to google me but becareful.....you may not like what ya see ;-)

At 12:03 AM , Anonymous said...

Another note of interest is how his descriptions read. All of his auctions state

"The signature is perfect, baseball is mint, and includes the certificate of authenticity from DIAMOND SPORTS. baseball is 100% authentic."

I'm sure you notice it says that baseball is authetic but no where does it mention that the autograph is. I can only assume that Jack does this thinking that it will somehow be a "loophole" when the po po comes knockin. Only on TV would such a waste of time be worth a try.

I must say that the Craig Biggio autograph is close but....no, nevermind....it isn't close. See ya Jack.

Your friend in Ebay harmony,
Devin

Diamondsportslegacy sells nothing but fakes. They have nothing but great players listed on premimum items! C'mon ! Its not even hard to figure out... I admit when I need to add a few guys to a team item, I don't think its a problem to do it myself to pass off on the losers buying this crap, but this is ridiculous! You guys are right on picking this guy out!

that would be sweet if the fbi brings up another operation bullpen and take down this loser fansindastands as well as diamondsportslegacy. the industry loses out on too much becasue of these jerks.

At 3:36 PM , Chris said...

If you read the previous comments on this particular post you will notice that seller "Diamondsportslegacy (Mr. Jack Anonymous)" responded to my comments about him. Let's make one thing clear and that is that "Diamondsportslegacy" sells forged autograph items on Ebay. Whether he does the forging or not I do not know, but he does sell forged autographed items. Last night I submitted excatly three of his forged autograph items to PSA/DNA's "Quick Opinion." The first was (Item Number 180057237632) is a Reggie Bush signd New Orleans helmet. The result was "Likely Not Genuine." The second was (Item Number 180057239846) was a George Brett signed baseball and the result was "Likely Not Genuine." By the way, seller "Onlinesportsnmore" George Brett forged signed item looks exactly like the "Diamondsportslegacy" George Brett forged signed item. The third (Item Number 180057234197) is a Ryan Howard signed baseball and the result was "Likely Not Genuine." Last year I submitted a few items to "Quick Opinion" from sellers "Bdiamondsports (now known as 'Diamondsportslegacy')" and they all came back as "Likely Not Genuine." Same for "Onlinesportsnmore (used to be 'Onlinesportsautographs')," "Losangelescollectibles," "Legendarygreats," and "Landmarkmoments." Mr. Jack Anonymous states "Chris you are a pathentic loser and always will be." He writes that because his attempts to get me to stop my investigations are futile. This coming from a guy who sells forged autograph items. I submit these "Quick Opinions" for two reasons. One is to prove that the autograph items are forged (although it is a no-brainer) and two to demonstrate that I put my money where my mouth. The truth is I wish I wasn't writing about the fake autograph memorabilia industry. I would rather be writing about card collecting and autograph collecting in a good light, but at this point we must continue to discussing the fake autograph memorabilia industry because it is there. And since Ebay is the largest online auction site that's where we have to begin. I submit daily reports to Ebay concerning sellers who have fake autograph items up for bid. The majority of those reports get ignored I will assume because of the fees these sellers of forged autograph items generate. Here's an example of the fees one "bad seller" will generate for Ebay for one day. As an example let's say that a fake autograph seller sells 50 items in one day at an average of $75.00 per sale. That generates approximately $240.00 plus the placement fees. Do you really think Ebay wants to lose that? "Diamondslegacy" put up another 85 fake autograph items just one hour ago (5PM EST). Last night I complained to Ebay (for the 100th time) about "Diamondsportslegacy." Why are these sellers allowed to continue to sell fake autograph items? But if I tried to warn a bidder that they were bidding on a fake autograph item Ebay would probably take action against me. Seller "Losangelescollectibles" sold over 3500 fake autograph items. Seller "Legendarygreats" sold over 2800 autograph items. Seller "Landmarkmoments" sold over 1800 fake autograph items. Seller "Fansindastands" puts up approximately 100 fake autograph items every few days. I could go on and on, of course. This is a major problem for the industry and I am puzzled that the athletes of all the major sports and the leagues themselves don't get more involved in this. I am shocked that they allow this to continue.

At 3:39 PM , Chris said...

Devin, thank you for your comments. You make a good point in that he claims "the bat or baseball is authentic." But the bottom, of course, is that his autograph item are all forged, but good point.

Hey, Bigtruck, I just noticed that seller "ernie0920" is now "Unregistered" on Ebay. By the way, Bigtruck has been my biggest supporter when it comes to this fight and I just want to say "thank you." It's ironic that the "bad guys" have an easy time being "bad guys" while the "good guys" like us that contribute to this blog are easy targets. Incredible.

is the guy selling this legit? 220054024435 he apparently has private signings with a-rod and even has a website for "mvpmarketingmanagement" which is also his username. how does one get to have a private signing with a-rod? i'm a marketing major in college (just started- in my 1st semester), and my hopes are to start a business such as stiener (or mvp marketing, for that matter) and have direct contracts with big name athletes. any ideas?

Thank you for the finding of the seller of those AROD autograph signings. I am not a Arod autograph expert but those autographs look very good. But what puzzles me is how the seller could make money based on the fact that he had a "Private Signing" with Arod coupled with the fact that the Arod autographed baseballs sold in the $120.00 range. I would assume that Arod charges well over $100.00 to sign each baseball. Any thoughts from anyone?

if you check out his website, he also sells them for a higher fee than what they sell for. i dunno.. i think if somebody has the money to have a private signing with alex rodriguez, they could have a better website. i contacted him about having a ball signed for me, and he says he has a signing session coming up the first week in december, and was asking $225 to get my ball signed. i could probably win one from his auction for cheaper than that. i told him it would be steep for me right now, and he said keep in contact because with spring training coming up, he's bound to have more signing sessions. my instinct says be suspicious. although, the signed items he offers do have very good looking signatures

this is for chris williams (his postings here as chris). perch712 on ebay. he is the one that tries to get everyone kicked off of ebay when he is the biggest scam artist around. i have proof/information that he was the supplier/owner of tristateautographs in new jersey and he had a few other accounts, if he doesnt sell under different names now. when this account got kicked off he decided to get even with everyone and now he says if he cant sell no one will be able to. so all of you followers of chris posting on this blog - keep up the good work and follow the biggest scam artist around. once he gets his competition off he will sell again.

hey chris you know who I am and do not deny it because I personally picked up 144 mini helmets and 70 baseballs (remember you told me 2 baseballs were damaged in shipping - hmmm. what your pen broke?) from your house that you told me were authentic and ups just delivered and then dropped them off to tristate. come on back and try to deny this but you I both know it is true. when the fbi finally cracks down I will be there to put you behind bars. but then again you are smarter then everyone else out there being in business this long.

I wouldnt be suprised if one of these ebayers that chris is trying to bad mouth bought his stuff and wont sell it anymore so he has to get back at them. you mention all of these terrible sellers on ebay except for tristateautographs. chris why is that. I know you are reading this because you are up all night and do not wake up to post on this blog or to sell until after lunch, your breakfast.

I love the anonymous posters. I have noticed an increased amount of bog activity in recent months...some folks out there are getting nervous. I'll tell you what. I have personally seen PSA opinions that Chris has put up his own money for. I have also seen the items he sells...once a forger, always a forger. Chris does not sell fakes now, so why would one believe that he has sold them previously? Who are you to accuse him while you hide behind an anonymous mask? You basically just admitted that you knowingly purchased fakes from someone...

At 1:56 AM , Anonymous said...

Oh yeah, and my name is George Clooney and I'm secretly in league with the illuminati to make a bid for world domination.

Come on dude, haven't you got anything better than that? I mean you could have said that Chris has multiple personality disorder and the "evil" Chris is selling fakes and the "good" Chris is trying to stop them. That at least would have been a little more entertaining. Maybe not believable....albeit entertaining.

In the good books of handwriting analysis there are a list of 7 common mistakes. Although I don't feel to inclined to name them all here, I will say this. The seller Diamondsportslegacy has several items for sale that have all 7. The Biggio, Howard, Schmidt are examples and the Bagwell is....well...pretty bad. A players sig changes over the years with exceptions to a few, however there are distinctive "parts" that dont. So while some can argue that the particuler sig is from 5 years ago, there will be certain things that stay the same. In the sigs that are mentioned, anyone with a pic view program can pull up the genuine deal and the sig in question and see a pleathora of discrepencies, knowing which parts to look at. I urge all of you in here to try it when you have some time. Not only is it entertaining, you can learn a little as well.

I wish this blog could be a little more accessible to others. I stumbled across it, luckily and have now pointed it out to my family as a reputable company to obtain memorbillia from. Then again, if a few of the questionable goofballs have found it, then maybe the word is getting out more and more.

Mr. Anonymous you are amusing, but I also want to "thank him." When I mentioned all of those other sellers (Losangelescollectibles, etc) I did forget to mention "Tristateautographs" who sold out of here in New Jersey. As a matter of fact "Tristateautographs" changed their Ebay ID until they were caught selling fake autographs again thanks to me. The only people who would know "Tristateautographs" is "Tristateautographs" or one of that "ring" of "bad sellers." So he just revealed himself. They are really upset with me now because as we know "Onlinesportsnmore (used to be Onlinesportsautographs)" is back on selling their fakes. How in the world Ebay allowed this is beyond me. "Onlinesportsnmore" has sold over 7500 fake autograph items on Ebay and now Ebay has allowed them back on to sell the same fake stuff. They were part of that group of seven. As a matter of fact, I helped put "Tristateautographs, Losangelescollectibles," etc. out of business. I have to say I found that comment more than amusing. I have no vested interest in my investigation and I have never promoted myself here. Everyone who knows my Ebay ID can see the few items I sell. I do this because I am tired of the CROOKS; the people who sell FORGED autograph items on Ebay; the bad guys who sell fake autograph items intentionally with the intent of ripping people off; and the biggest problem is the powers-that-be that continue to allow them to sell their FORGED items even though we prove to them that they (the people who sell FORGED autographed items) really do sell (on a daily basis) FAKE AUTOGRAPH ITEMS. I expect to be hit hard from these "bad sellers" and that isn't going to stop me. Keep'em coming guys.

Thank you for some of the emails concerning my findings. I also don't want you to be concerned about some of the "Anonymous" comments in here about me. I want the "Anonymous" comments allowed to flow in. The more they write, the more they reveal themselves. Last night I discovered over 35 new Derek Jeter fake autograph items from "new" sellers. This happens this time of the year as people are looking for money for the holiday season, so as usual I have seen a rash of new fake autograph items on Ebay. I discovered those 35 fake autograph items in just five minutes time. There are tons more out there. Of course, the usual "bad sellers" continue to put up their fake autograph items on a daily basis even though I continue to feed Ebay reports. Remember last week when I informed Ebay of those threatening "Ebay Emails." Well as of today (11/30/06) Ebay has taken no action against this seller. Those emails warranted me to go to my local police department and two other agencies. I just contacted Ebay about this again. I asked Ebay "why they continue to protect the bad guys." I will keep you posted.

I also want you to check on item number 230059513154. This is a fake autographed Derek Jeter baseball from seller "pjuice1757." This is the fourth time that he is selling that same baseball. I have complained to Ebay about this seller and they refuse to do anything. Again, the same question pops up: Why does Ebay allow this seller (Pjuice1757) to sell the same fake autographed baseball over and over again?

It is very obvious that we are "bothering you bad sellers" and that is a good thing. Do you think your comments are going to make us stop because we are scared of you "bad sellers." You "bad sellers" intentionally sell forged autographs for money and that will not be tolerated any longer. Let me ask you a question, Mr. Anonymous. 5. You get "bad sellers" banned and then they pop back up a week later with a new ID! Your a minor hassel to them.

6. No, I'm going to come on here and laugh at you.

7. No, you should whine about it all day and waste your money on PSA quick opinons.... what are you going to do when they start clicking the auto- pass button on everything again?

8. What you should do is shut up.

9. Your on a website that helped and is helping to create the problem. When the corporations will pay a scrub.. see Shawn Kemp $100 to sign one autograph, he then actually thinks his autograph is worth $100 and won't even sign for kids in-person. Then "All- authentic", "UDA", etc. charges $300 for a Shawn Kemp basketball, so the forgers can come along and sell a fake one for $100 to people trying to save money. The corporations are what help to create the forgery market. You better save this note... all authentic doesnt like anybody bad mouthing thier $300 Shawn Kemp's!!!

That's what I call incredible. A seller of forged autographed memorabilia attempting to justify their actions. You guys don't sell fake autograph items because you think that that the corporations overcharge for the athletes they have under contract, you do it to make a quick, cheap buck. You do it to rip people off. You do it because you have no conscience. You do it because it's an easy living selling 50-75 forged autograph items on a daily basis. You do it because you know, that for the most part, Ebay doesn't care. I find your reasoning for being a crook beyond comprehension. And no, WE will not stop harassing you. Yes, you are right, I get you crooks kicked off one week, and a week later Ebay allows you back on and then I find you again. A good case in point is seller "Onlinesportsnmore" who has sold in excess of 7500 forged autograph items. He was inactive for about 8 months until Ebay allowed him back on to sell his forged autograph items. Or Americansportscollectibles who has sold in excess of 2500 forged autographed footballs and is still active on Ebay. Or seller Baseballdome who sold an amazing 2200 forged autographed sports cards over a 60-90 day period. And you think WE are suppose to just let you guys run amok selling your forged items. You think that your comments and the threats that I've received are going to force me to stop. You guys would love for me to stop, wouldn't you. But I won't stop. That seller who sent me the threatening emails via Ebay's Email system still has not been dealt with from Ebay and it's been over a week now. That seller gave me a ultimatium "to stop or else." I'm still here. I guess Ebay didn't think that the threats against me didn't warrant any action against that seller. You original sellers of forged autograph memorabilia has breeded a generation of "copy cat" crooks due to the inaction of Ebay to take care of the problem. We aren't going away.

I guess I had better plan on getting a PSA or Steiner certified ball to avoid getting ripped off. I just submitted this one though for the PSA "quick look".

Wish me luck! Glad I found this info, I guess the bottom line on ebay is that if a deal looks too good to be true it probably is!

I see no problem with seller "sportsmemorabiliaco." Very legit autograph items.

Chris - Thanks so much for the info, your blog has hopefully kept me from buying my boyfriend a fake autograph (that would be embarrassing!). What do you think of this one?

I have already been able to spot a few I think are fakes on my own. .

I sure wouldn't purchase it. Go get your boyfriend a Steiner or UDA autographed baseball. Good luck.

Yeah, go waste $600 on a steiner or UDA Jeter ball when a real one is worth $150 top. Chris, how much does Steiner, UDA, PSA, etc. pay you everytime you mention thier name? I know you think everyone who sells anything has to waste $100 on PSA OPINON.. yes, OPINON before they can sell anything but you are one of the many carriers of the disease that is these big F wad companies that scare buyers into thinking nothing without a hologram is authentic. Jeter signs at least once a Series inside.. usually 40 autos... where do all those goes... nope.. not to Steiner... nope not to UDA. They go to ebay. Know what your talking about before you talk. And for the person that asked his opinon, dear he knows less than you do. This guy probally gets pre prints thru the mail and thinks thier good.... probally has them sent to PSA so he knows the mail man doesnt switch his autopens and pre prints out. Pathetic!

How about instead of making the $2 UDA pays you everytime you bring up thier name, you help her get a baseball on ebay that is good instead of being a tool?

At 3:56 AM , Chris said...

It's one thing to dislike Steiner Sports or UDA for any reason you wish, but it doesn't justify forging autographs because you dislike Steiner or UDA. No one pays me anything for my mentioning their name and I spend my own money on Quick Opinion reports. The "bad guys" have been upset with me for two years now because I will not quit getting you guys prosecuted or at the very least kicked off Ebay. You guys had it pretty easy before I came along and because Ebay didn't (and still doesn't) care.

idiot, who said anything about forging autographs? I said a real one isnt worth the $600 Steiner or UDA is raping you for and good ones can be found on ebay for 30% of that.. and you know that, too. You have no idea what your talking about. You have proven it on here a 100 times over and by the fact you need PSA Quick Opinon because you simply don't know what your talking about. If a autograph doesnt look like the ones on the crap UDA or Steiner has, you automatically think its fake when you know the players sign differently in person on the street than when UDA or Steiner is overpaying them with hope of raping the fans. I don't think your stupid, but your saying a lot of stupid statements. You don't know what autographs look like, so you need PSA. Its a fact. Please admit it.

Just FYI PSA Quick Opinion on this ball was "Likely not genuine". Unfortunately I don't have $350 to spend on this baseball but I don't have $150 to throw away on a fake either. So I will continue looking for a steiner or PSA cert. ball and hopefully I can get a good deal w/o being scammed. Thanks again, TLM

This one also was "likely not genuine" (Item number: 320060722741) on Quick Opinion, I messaged each seller to tell them of the result. Part of me wants to message the bidders too but I imagine this would get me introuble w/ ebay. I wonder if these sellers know they are fake or are passing on what they thought was genuine?

Ok so I stumbled on this late like after I bought from one of the sellers you all are sure about. How do I check to see if it is a fake and then what can I do about it?

At 10:52 AM , TLM said...

Yippee! My steiner certified ball arrived in the mail today. Quick question though - there is one # on the sticker on the Rawlings box, another # on the actual ball and the card has a bar code w/ JETEBA00000000 onit - are these suppose to match?? How do I check authenticity for sure? Thanks!

p.s. Is there anywhere I can put in the Steiner serial # and see where / when the ball was signed? Thanks!

TLM - The hologram on the box is the authenticity sticker for the BALL (MLB) not the autograph. The Steiner sticker should have a number and the credit card should have a number. If you call Steiner or email them with your number on the card/ball they should be able to pull that up for you.

If anybody could elaborate about their experiences with fansindastands it would be appreciated. I have noticed some very strange dealings with the items that are listed on eBay right now. It is definitely worth checking out.

if you look around, you will find TONS of stuff about fansindastands...fake signatures, one day PRIVATE listings...we know all about them. J-Man could tell you some stuff.

This is great info. My mom and I are searching for a Jack Nicklaus/Arnold Palmer signed photo for my dad. Found #160083963064 by auctionittoday121. It's authenicated by fanindastands, which I'm assuming - from your blog - means it's likely a fake. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
